"When I first got in touch with Lucy, I was struggling with acne on my face, low energy levels, as well as a bit of extra weight I had put on during the lockdowns, which I couldn't shift. But I think behind all these issues was the fact that I couldn't find the motivation within myself to start putting in the work I needed to do, in order to sort some of these things out, and it was difficult to know where to start.
Once I started working with Lucy, she helped me to figure out what were the things most important to me, and put in place steps to get me started. Having the regular sessions with her has also given me the motivation and external accountability I needed to start making some progress. "I started the 12 week programme with Lucy with a few objectives. To improve my sleep and general mood, to see if I could understand better the hormonal changes I was going through, to increase my energy levels and to re-educate myself in terms of nutrition.
I have exercised 5 or 6 times a week for as long as I can remember and have managed my weight through a fairly balanced approach in the main.
However, in recent times I felt the only way I could maintain my weight or lose a few pounds after a gain was through intermittent fasting. Although this had served me fairly well, it often affected my sleep, decreased my energy and - I felt - led to a preoccupation with food.

With Lucy’s help I’ve changed my focus away from ‘low fat’ (often high sugar) to more natural full fats and made sure I have more whole foods, higher fibre and protein. All things I deep down knew would be better for me, but good to learn this with a professional.
With the introduction of a few simple supplements and implementing better sleep hygiene, my sleep has improved too.

Perhaps the most rewarding (and unexpected!) aspect has been the fact that through the Programme I feel like I have gained a more positive outlook generally. It feels like making this time for myself has given me a push to explore new outlets that I had been putting off or dismissed.

“When I booked my first session with Lucy, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t in a great place. I felt powerless and frustrated by my short cycle, my fluctuating moods, constant fatigue and listlessness. I’d been to my GP with no great result - they were more interested in investigating the hormonal heart palpitations that getting my hormones under control - and I felt like I had to simply accept to be ruled by it. And that wasn’t good enough for me.
Nor, as it turned out, for Lucy. From the moment I walked into the consultation with her, I felt how personalised this session would be. She was clear and open about what I could expect, and really listened to what my concerns were, hearing what was affecting me. She addressed each of my test results and explained what they meant, what they might then mean for my cycle, and how we could support the lower areas.
